Flight Simulator Performance Tool
This free Airbus takeoff performance calculator helps flight simulator pilots estimate V1, VR, V2, FLEX temperature, takeoff trim and retraction speeds for Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and other simulators. It combines aircraft weight, runway information, weather and takeoff configuration in one browser-based workflow.
Supported profiles include the Airbus A220-100, A220-300, A319-132, A320-214, A320-251N, A321-211, A330-243 and A330-343. Select the aircraft that matches your add-on, enter takeoff gross weight and centre of gravity, then confirm flap setting, packs and anti-ice. Airport, runway and METAR data can be loaded automatically or entered manually.
After checking the inputs, review the estimated V-speeds, FLEX or TOGA result, flap/THS entry and any warnings shown on the MCDU-style display. Recalculate whenever weight, runway, departure intersection, weather or aircraft configuration changes.
V1 represents the modelled takeoff decision speed, VR the rotation speed and V2 the takeoff safety speed target. FLEX is an estimated reduced-thrust setting, while TOGA indicates that the simplified model is no longer offering reduced thrust for the entered conditions. Detailed explanations are available in the guides below.
The calculator uses simulator-oriented performance profiles and simplified corrections. It does not contain official Airbus FCOM data, certified runway analysis or operator performance databases. Results are intended only for education and flight simulation and must never be used for real-world flight operations.
