Is this an official Airbus performance calculator?

No. It is an educational flight-simulation tool - Performance Calculation for Airbus and does not use certified Airbus FCOM, operator or obstacle-performance databases. Never use its output for real-world flight operations.

Which aircraft are supported?

The current profiles cover A220-100, A220-300, A319-132, A320-214, A320-251N, A321-211, A330-243 and A330-343. Select the exact profile that most closely matches your simulator add-on.

Does it work with MSFS and X-Plane?

Yes. The calculator is platform-neutral and can provide estimates for Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane. Individual add-ons can use different flight models and performance data, so their internal results may differ.

Why are my V-speeds different from the aircraft EFB?

Check aircraft and engine variant, weight units, takeoff weight, CG, flap setting, runway intersection, weather and configuration. If inputs match, the difference may come from add-on-specific performance data that this simplified model does not contain.

Why does the result show TOGA instead of FLEX?

The model shows TOGA when reduced-thrust margin is exhausted or the estimated FLEX value is not compatible with entered temperature. High weight, short runway, tailwind, contamination, uphill slope and anti-ice can contribute.

Does TOGA mean the takeoff is safe?

No. TOGA only means the calculator is no longer offering a reduced-thrust estimate. It does not certify runway length, obstacle clearance or takeoff feasibility.

What is takeoff shift?

Takeoff shift is the distance from the physical threshold to the point where the takeoff roll begins. It is subtracted from runway length to determine effective runway available to the model.

Where do airport and runway data come from?

Airport and runway records are derived from the OurAirports dataset. Imported values should still be checked against current simulator scenery and airport information.

Can I enter data manually?

Yes. Airport and METAR lookup are conveniences; runway, elevation, QNH, temperature and wind remain available for manual input and verification.

When should I recalculate?

Recalculate after any change to aircraft weight, runway, departure intersection, weather, flap setting, packs, anti-ice or runway condition.
